Nowadays, most interviewers ask candidates to share their screen and write a piece of code. Don’t be intimidated by this. The good news is that they often ask the same questions, which you can prepare for in advance. For example, about 90% of the time, you may be asked to write a trigger that displays the total number of contacts related to an account. Being prepared for such scenarios can boost your confidence and help you excel in your Salesforce development interview. Another important aspect to consider is project elaboration. Even if your current project isn’t very complex, it’s essential to elaborate on it in an impressive manner. To do this, focus on highlighting all the important Salesforce features used in the project. During the introduction, take sufficient time to explain your project clearly and concisely. Additionally, try to present your project in a way that showcases the latest Salesforce technologies, such as LWC. By doing so, you can demonstrate your knowledge of Salesforce’s cutting-edge tools and position yourself as a tech-savvy candidate. Speaking of LWC, it’s essential to dive into frequently asked LWC-related questions to enhance your skills. Additionally, in today’s technology-driven world, API integration is a critical skill for developers to have. Don’t let your resume fall short! Even if you don’t have experience with API integration, there are ways to learn and enhance your skills to stay competitive in the job market. During the interview process, make sure to use every opportunity to showcase your skills and experiences. When you’re asked questions you’re familiar with, take the time to elaborate and provide real-time examples. By doing this, you’ll be able to effectively express yourself and create a positive environment during the interview. Don’t forget to ask questions at the end of the interview to show your interest in the role and gather important information. Asking thoughtful questions demonstrates your engagement and can help you better understand the company’s values, culture, and expectations.
